Look 1

This look is a modern take on traditional South Asian formal wear. Materials used are all South Asian fabrications. And silhouettes taken from Western wear. Fabric manipulations include a patchwork pant with lace detailing, and pin-tuck pleated top.

This look is about embracing and finding a balance between 2 cultures: Eastern and Western. As we settle into the places we are in life today, it’s important to hold on to our roots and culture and for me this look was about learning to become a product of both cultures.
