It is an intimate look into my own memories of growing up in Karachi. Pakistan. I’m inspired by South Asian culture which surrounded me constantly.
I blend contemporary silhouettes with traditional fabrication and accessories to show that we can embrace our cultural background and still remain modern
My thesis is called “بچپن کی یادیں” which translates to “childhood memories” from Urdu. My collection recounts the nostalgia behind treasured memories and moments from our past that shape us.
